President phones Vladimir Putin

Victor Yushchenko has called Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the President’s press-office.

They spoke about Mr. Putin’s future visit to Ukraine. Then the Heads of State discussed economic relations between the two countries and particularly considered ways to settle the milk and meat conflict. They also broached the subject of customs regulations and then focused on means of ensuring better functioning of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
