The volume of the output in Ukraine’s agriculture grew by 3.2% during January-June of 2006, compared with the same period of the last year. UNIAN was told about this at the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

According to the information of the committee, the growth of the agricultural output was recorded in 16 Oblasts in the first half-year. In particular, in the Cherkassy Oblast the output grew by 13.7%, in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts –by 9%, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast – by 8.8%.

At the same time, the biggest reduction of the agricultural production output was recorded in the Mykolayiv Oblast – by 6.8%, in the Kirovohrad Oblast – by 4.2%, and in the Odessa Oblast – by 3.8%.
