Onopenko elected chairman of Supreme Court of Ukraine

Today the plenary session of the Supreme Court of Ukraine appointed Vassyl Onopenko as the chairman of this state institution.

      According to the SCU press-office, 58 judges out of 86, present at the session, voted for him.

      V.Onopenko is the chairman of the Ukrainian Social-Democratic Party, lawmaker of the third, fourth, and fifth convocations, member of the Supreme Council of Justice, honored lawyer of Ukraine, author of more than 80 scientific works.
