VR adopted WTO bill in first reading

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading draft law “On Introducing Amendments into Law of Ukraine “On Veterinary Medicine”.

According to the President`s press-office, 388 out of 438 lawmakers, present in the chamber, voted for this law.

The draft law was worked out in order to bring the Ukrainian legislation in the sphere of sanitary, veterinary, and phyto-sanitary regulation in compliance with the WTO demands.
