Ukrainian president to visit S. Korea

The South Korean Presidential Office said Friday that Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko is scheduled to make a two-day state visit to South Korea on Dec. 18- 19, according to People’s Daily.

      Yushchenko will meet with South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun on Dec. 18 and discuss ways to improve bilateral ties in the fields of trade, investment, science, technology, the defense industry and culture, said the Presidential Office in a news release. Ukraine`s transfer of parts of its world-class aerospace technologies to South Korea will be high on the agenda of the summit, the release said.
