Mass rally held in Kyiv

A mass rally against the economically groundless decision of Leonid Chernovetskyi about the increase of municipal services rates is taking place in front of the Kyiv City State Administration. The rally is conducted by the inter-factional union “Democratic Kyiv”.

      According to an UNIAN correspondent, some 5 thousand of Kyiv residents take part in the action.

      In addition, political party “Big Ukraine” pitched up tents in front of the city hall and collects signatures in support of carrying out a local referendum to express no confidence to incumbent Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy.
